Most commonly used cameras have a zoom option (magnification / focal change). Unfortunately, the distortion isn't constant for all focal lengths; it change nonlinearly, so one have to make lens profile for the given camera.

   When we have photographed calibration planes (obtained from measurement in the form of JPEG images), the given profile might be created. Depending on the requirements, the profile can be complete (full; for all focal range), or for selected focal lengths (incomplete profile).

   It is possible to collect some profiles in the form of special base (eg. base with profiles only for cameras made by selected manufacturer). Sample Lens Profiles Databases

   If Your camera is not on the following list and you're interested in profile for your camera, please contact me. In the mail the following information should be placed:

• make, model and type of the given camera (eg. Olympus C-2 Zoom, compact),
• profile type: (full/incomplete),
• JPEG images with photographed calibration patterns,
